In other minor league news, unlike what you may have heard reported on ESPN 1000 today,Kris Honel was sent back to class A Winston Salem today.

They had it the opposite way,Kris sent to AA Birmingham, they got it exactly backwards, and repeated it three times an hour for three hours.

So why was Honel sent down? Or was that what they said and he really got promoted? Confused..... :?:

Honel had (I believe) only been promoted to make a spot start in Birmingham while Neil Cotts made his appearance in the Futures Game. After making the start, Honel was sent back to Winston-Salem (much to the delight of NC_sox_fan), clearing space for Cotts return to the AA rotation.
