my girlfriend's dad owns a company that makes sports memmorabilia (car flags, pennants, etc.) he was able to grab tickets for us for tonight and tomorrow. All I know is that we're "pretty high up" for both nights. Apparently behind the dish for the derby though. Usually I wouldnt be a huge fan of sitting high up at comiskey, but for the HR derby and all star game, I'd take anything.

I do not know if the demand is high for hr derby parking pass but I have one for sale. I will take the first offer at face or above ($15) who can pick it up (just west of Greek town) before 5:00.

509 to be more specific. Those seats aren't too bad, the walk to the washroom and back is the bad part, especially after :gulp:

Scott, what days are you in 113? My girlfriend and I are in 113, row 13 for weekend games.

Anybody think it would be worth heading down there and just camping outside the players/media parking lot? Any chance of homers getting hit OUT?

Don't think so, although it will be interesting to see if New Comiskey/Cell can tame these sluggers. NOBODY has ever put one out of this park in its 12 year history. The farthest homer was Frank's 495 blast to the back end of the concourse last year. Rumor has it that Frank hit the billboard in batting practice one year.

My bet is that you'll see plenty of concourse shots but nobody will hit one out. If an out of the park shot does happen, I expect Carlos Delgado to be the one who does the deed. The ball absolutely jumps off that guy's bat. Remember that excuse me swing homer he hit against us earlier in the year? If that guy gets all of a BP fastball it is going to go a mile. Too bad Maggs wasn't invited to participate.

BTW, I'll be there in the nosebleeders. Section 509, row 25. No balls will make it up there unless they are shot out of a mortar cannon. :D:

i won't be there, but I do remember on the tuesday game vs the Giants Barry Bonds hit a HR in BP off of one of the seats in the last row of the outfield, and it bounced out of the park, don't know if that counts though

It'll count if it bounces out and I have a chance of tracking it down! I really doubt any will make it out, but after seeing Scammin' Sammy all juiced up last year, I would think someone, someday has a shot - legally or not.

I'm in 113, row 17 on the aisle for the weekend package. I drag my very pregnant wife and 2 blonde daughters to most of the games. I expect my wife will go into labor sometime around the Texas series at the end of August. However she told me after the futures game yesterday that she is about done with the games this year. (she doesn't share my enthusiasm)
