View Full Version : All-Star Voting

When voting the for All-Star team, one is allowed to submit up to 25 ballots. When voting for the 32nd man, the numbers of votes that one can cast appears to be infinite.

I am missing something obvious here, or is this just completely idiotic?

Why not just restrict each person to one vote? The only thing that I can think of is that the free e-mail providers (e.g., Hotmail and Yahoo) might get swamped with people setting up free e-mail accounts to be able to vote multiple times. But I wonder how many people really care that much.

Just wondering...

How do you cast that many votes? Do you automate it or something?

Yes, but why does MLB want us to vote a thousand times each? Are they getting more advertising money or something?

are they going to post any results thus far today?

Ive voted a TON today already. I think MLB wants to see how
badly fans want their guy in. I guess if you were kind of so-so about wanting your guy in, you wont vote as strongly and loudly.
WE MUST GET FRANK IN. Sox Nation needs to get him in.....
Frank is doing his Part this year,,,,,,,,,,This will be his REWARD FROM US...............

I'm doing my part, I'm trying to get some friends to vote Frank as well and I've already voted at least 30 times in the last hour. We need to keep it going! I don't want Giambi or Veritek to take what is rightfully Frank's spot!
