Although I'm sure the writer here wants to get people angry, I couldn't help but crack up laughing when I read this.

The notion of our Sox, led by fearless leader JR, being a big bucks team that is unfairly picking on the little guys by spending their way to a pennant is just too ludicrous to take seriously. I only wish it were true.

It does deflect criticism from the cheapskate owners of the Twins and Royals who, almost unbelievably, are tighter with a buck than The Chairman.

If only we were big bucks, we might be amazing with a GM like KW

That has to be one of the most uninformed columns I have read. I guess it's not his fault for not knowing the desire for Sox fans to win. What an ignoramous.

Can you imagine if the Royals had pulled off a similar set of trades? He'd be writing about October and rings. It's a bunch of whining to set the fans off and show them how unfair life is in a small market town like KC...

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

I guess that people in KC have finally realized that guys like Run-Elvis Hernandez aren't going to get it done.

Sounds like this balding moron was paid off (perhaps in Rogaine) by the KC front office to write that.
