...we would be 13 games out of first.

I don't know why I felt the need to play the wet blanket. I am still excited and I would rather end the seasion with momentum then start the season hot. I learned that in 2000.

If we were the Yankees we'd have a lot of championships. Bottom line is we're not.

And you know what the beauty part of this fact is? The A.L. West will only send one team to the playoffs--same as the A.L. Central. The wild-card team is a scramble.

Come October 1, it makes no difference whether you won 85 games, 95 games, or 105 games. I would absolutely LOVE the '03 Sox to emulate the '87 Twins. They won 85 pathetic games, good enough for the old A.L. West division crown, and then marched to a world championship.

Everybody's record is 0-0 when the playoffs start. Count my team in!

If ifs and buts were candy & nuts...

Let's just enjoy our good fortune of playing in the worst division in baseball.

To add, if the queen had stones she'd be king.

If we can get to the playoffs, I'll take my chances with Loiza, Colon and Buhrle against ANYONE'S top three (A's included).
