As many of you know, it was on this date in 1910 that the first game was played at Comiskey Park. All of us who remember her fondly please join me in a toast to the finest ballpark in the world.

What a better way to celebrate than to get a player that can help the franchise get something it hasn't had since they played at the old ballpark.........A Championship!

:gulp: Here's to the defunct Baseball Palace Of The World.

:) Remember July 1st, 1990 like yesterday with that freaky Hawkin's no-hitter.....boy as time goes by, we really could have had a state of the  art replica of the Old Gal, but no for-sight and up front greed and not a true appreciation of the clubs history and the true money Reinsy could have made over the 90's will never be realized, if he had listen to the architect's during the research........ah......... ANYWAY PLEASE GO TO: Timelapse .com and check out the 1st day of the wrecking ball in time lapse. Just enter: demolition..and white sox. It's pretty neat. :gulp: Baseball Palace of the World...forever
