Bad defense, bad pitching, bad base running.

To quote the Comic Book Store guy on The Simpsons...

"WORST GAME EVER."

*Ugly*.

Just when you thought this team was gonna have a nice game, 2 runs to start it out. A homer and a nice manufactured run, then BOOM, 5-2.

Make it 6.

This game reminds me so much of Garland's first outing we got
him 2 or 3 runs in the first inning. Then the Royals beat our ass.

How many times have we heard bad baserunning this year? As for the defense - it's bad and we better do something about it to help these young pitchers.

Well minus Canseco's running on a pitch that got away from the catcher, I was talking about the Royals bad baserunning. But your point is still true.

We SHOULD come back somewhat, this George guy has been awful and we have proved we can hit him. But it wouldn't surprise me if we gave up now and let him coast for 6 more innings or so.

Well Johnson can't catch every game.
Outside of Olivo we don't have any catching prospects.
So Josh has to be here, I don't like it but that's the way it is.

Speaking of Olivo, he has been on a huge tear in AA. He was hitting about .220 before the corked bat, he is hitting almost every game and has improved his BA about 50 points to a .270

Didn't we call someone up when alomar went down and paul was hurt as well?

Whoever that was, I liked him (relatively speaking).

We wouldn't have gotten in this predicament if I had started!
