The Twins weren't in first place coming into the day; Kansas City was. The Twins win moves them into a tie for first with the Royals, but the Royals' loss keeps the Sox at 4.5 back.

Who does Kansas City play this week? The Sox have a huge opportunity to pick up ground on Minnesota, but the Royals may still have a comfortable lead by the time the end of the week rolls around.

Thanks, I'll fix that. I was so sure they were tied coming in that I didn't check my numbers. Man I'm too old to go to 3 games in a row anymore... :D:
