How bad do you think we can make it? I think we have to (legally) break new ground when he comes to the Cell. Boo him the whole game. Yell at any dumbarse cubs fan who cheers him. I want him to feel as unwelcome as possible

Depends on how much more Sox fans we have there than cubs fans...It better be brutal...

But instead of booing him, I hope everyone just yells out COOOOOORKEY.... That would be funny as hell..

You know that the reception we give him will be pretty big national news, so it better be awful...ly brutal

As much as I would enjoy this, I know that the press will definitely give it to Sox fans if this happens:

Sammy getting hit with a piece of Cork at U.S. Cellular.

I know it happened in Baltimore, but you know that the media will be begging Bud Selig to take away the all-star game if that were to happen.

Just a thought!

Last year during the steroids issue, Sox fans really stuck it to him. But this year will be worse. Im sure at least 2/3 of the people will be Sox fans. Im lucky enough to be going to Fridays game and I hope they start a COR-KEY COR-KEY chant.

I bet the fans in right field won't get a chance . . . Corkey will DH all three games.

Early this morning Murph and Fred speculated that the reception for Sosa would be mild because everything has blown over. I'm worried that some tanked up idiot will go overboard and do something to embarrass us. I hope what actually happens is somewhere in between.

When Sammy comes to bat, they should show the clip from "The Naked Gun" where Frank Drebin pulls the cork from a player's bat with a corkskrew.

Hey, Welcome Aboard! :D:

I agree. Baker is going to minimize his exposure. I think he'll DH at least two of the games...

I love it! But then KW will probably fire him like they did the guy that played the song when Chuck Finley was in town last year!

You know, you would hope that JR would realize that those are two totally different situations, but one suspects not...

So is it agreed that we'll chant "Cor-Key" instead of cheater?

If you ask Les Grobstein, he'll probably tell you that Cub fans outnumber Sox fans at the Cell. Of course he's the same one who said there were only 2000 Sox fans at Wrigley last week.

Way to go, Les. Keep drinking that Cubs Kool-Aid. It must be nice to live in a world where you all think Sammy is a god and can do no wrong.

Bud Selig may be stupid, but he's not dumb enough to move the All-Star Game 2 1/2 weeks before the game is scheduled to be played.

Yes, but much like whenever Sham-Me* strikes in front of the screaming Flubs fans, the points don't matter.
