I saw. 2 home run cuts and an excuse me swing on strike 3. Brewers have just taken a 7-6 lead. :D:

And former Cub (and Sox) Brooks Keischnick (sp?) hits a solo shot in the top of the 10th to put the 'Crew ahead 7-6!

Sammy, you're the opposite of clutch. :D:

:shammy

But I hit 2 zingers yesterday!

(Oh yeah, we won 9-1...whatever. It's not like that 9th inning of today's game mattered much.)

*Ouch*.

10-6 Brew Crew.

Think that Flubbie bullpen is going to hurt them down the stretch?

A Geoff Jenkins 3-run shot to left makes it 10-6 Brew in the top of the 10th... some things will never change with the Cubs, and I LOVE that! :D:

Do the Cub fans really like Sosa, aside from his homers? Wife-beating, cheating, arrogance, and just plain ugly - so few redeeming qualities. Or is it that the media and granny gammons have dubbed him the "media darling" that they feel obligated to give him these ovations.

Oh yea, and way to hustle for that fly ball, samme

12-6 Brewers now and Royce K-layton makes the final out to cap off his 0 for 4 day. Man am I glad that sack of garbage is off our team.

Wow, today was Vintage Cubs Baseball. Blowing a huge lead, choking in the 9th with a man on 2nd and 1 out, and then giving up an assload of runs in the 10th.

And against one of the worst teams in all of baseball.

Kudos, Cubs! Well done!

Maybe the Cubs management is demanding too many innings of the bullpen. Or maybe the Brewers play better at Wrigley Field than they do elsewhere, home or road. Didn't the Brewers take two out of three in a Wrigley series earlier this year?

Here's an idea to increase attendance in Milwaukee. Shift the Brewers to the north side of Chicago where the quality of the baseball no longer affects attendance. Move the current Cubs team to Milwaukee. The Cubs always draw well in Milwaukee.

And Ron Santo could experience the great National League tradition north of Kenosha.
