Ive noticed in the past few weeks that many times a Sox player has watched the third strike. About 75% of the time its a beautiful pitch that they couldve hit easily. Crede struck out looking twice on Tuesday. One of the times he didnt even wait for the call, he just started walking back to the dugout. And on Saturday alot of guys struck out looking. Perhaps they wouldve had some hits in the late innings had they swung the bat. Someone should tell these guys that when you have two strikes and theres a close pitch that you have to swing. You cant be too pickey with two strikes, you must swing if its good. In my opinion, watching a third strike is the worst way to get out. Its pretty embarassing. Has anyone else noticed this happening alot lately?
