Steve Rosenbloom had an interesting question on his Score show this morning. He asked the listeners whom they hated more: the Green Bay Packers or the "other" baseball team. So I pose that question to you.

I'm much more of a Sox Fan, so the choice for me was obvious.

I hate the Cubs more-we dont have a Packer propaganda machine to deal with like the Cubune and media here

This is a tough call. I am more of a White Sox fan than a Bears fan by ions, but I choose the Packers simply because the Cubs were never managed by Forrest Gregg.

I voted for the cubs for a few reasons. One, I'd trade '85 in a second to see a sox championship. Two, I don't think it's the cubs that I hate, but rather the fans of that awful organIzation. Wait that didn't come out right. I do hate the cubs with a passion, but i hate the fans more.

Not even close. The Packers are in the Bears' division. If the Sox spent 1/8 of their season playing the flubbiess home and home and it always had a direct impact on their playoff hopes, I might feel differently.

I am a Bears fan. I lived in Minneapolis for two years in high school and whenever the Vikes would play the Pack, all that week on one of the radio stations, they would play this song to the tune of Locomotion called Choke Majkowski, God I hate the Packers. It was hilarious.

Packers no doubt. I hate the Flubs fans but aside from Sosa I don't have much against their team. I actually like some of their players. I hate the Packers fans, their players, their stadium, etc. Also as has been mentioned in this thread, the Packers are in the same division. They keep the Bears out of the playoffs. The Flubs don't keep the Sox from making the playoffs.

I post on the Bears MB as well (www.chicagobears.com) and believe me, there is no love lost for the Packers on that board. And because those loser Packer fans don't have a message board of their own, some of their troll fans post a bunch of garbage on our board, but way too many Bear fans to outnumber them. If you guys get a chance, check the board out. It's another popular board on the 'net.

GO WHITE SOX!!!

GO BEARS!!!

personally, I'm a much bigger baseball fan than football fan and a sweep of the Cubs is much bigger than 2 wins against the pack. When the Cubs win and the Sox are losing, I have Cubs fans who are in my face all the time, which allows the opposite to happen as well. I think that the fact that I have to communicate with Cub fans on a daily basis has mainly to do with my hatred more of the cubs than the Pack.

I'm more of a baseball fan and really hate the cubs, but i just really hate the packers, their stadium, their colors, bret farve and those ****ing cheeze head hats , and their fans are 10 times worse then cub fans. And since the packers are in Wisconsin, I've got to give the Packers the edge on this one.,

I only know a handful of Packer fans, and they're not usually too bad. But man, I know so many Cub fans who think they're team is like the envy of baseball... I just love watching them get pounded...

I've seen the Packers win a Super Bowl, and yeah, it left me with an empty feeling in my stomach, but if the Cubs ever won a World Series, I think I would have to become a hermit.

That's an interesting angle, Doub. I voted for the Cheeseheads. I despise them. I just can't stand them. I don't know that I've ever hated an opposing player as much as Favray. And the fact he can't pronounce his own name makes it worse. But, the thought of the Flubs ever winning a Series, much less winning one before the Sox, makes my blood run cold...

.

I've sat in many cub fan bars and cheered against the cubs, i've sat in 3 packer bars and got kicked out of 2 of them. Once escorted by a cheezehead cop . They are the most annoying loudmothed idiots around. they love to give you ****, but dare give it back when the pack is losing and you'll have 4 toothless overall wearing inbread jackasses wanting to fight. Or just call the cops on you without warning.

You should what some of the Packer trolls post on the Bears MB. My God, between them and Eagles fans, it can get annoying as hell. But most of the Bear fans on the Bears MB can hold their own, so we keep the Fudgies in check.

here's the thing....i'm a MUCH bigger sox fan than bears fan...although i love the bears.

however, i live in green bay, and the propaganda machine here is about 5000 times worse than the cubune. if you think rick morrissey is bad, there's a man here named chris havel who worships at the church of favre and sherman who writes a column most every day.

packer fans...well they're not more ill-informed than cubs fans...but there's just something about their damn sense of superiority....

having said all that, i personally know ahman green...and he's a great guy...and it's my understanding that most of them are decent people who stay within the rules of the game...unlike certain people in blue and red pajamas who pop speed, shoot juice, hit their wives with rum bottles and hide the evidence in their bats...

i still hate the pack more though.

Which is another why I hate the packers WAY more. There is NO chance of that happening in our lifetimes...

I have yet to chime on this post which fits my user name perfectly. As of right now it has to be the Packers because the past decade has been brutal with the Packers winning a championship and has won most of the meeting with the beloved Bears. I think the only time i could really brag the last decade was after Bryan Robinsons game winning field goal block the week of Paytons death. What a perfect game that was for the occasion, but thats been the one of the only bright side recently for Bears fans against the Packers. Meanwhile the Sox have own the Cubs with an 18-14 advantage plus a world series victory against the Cubs and the Sox are the last team to win a world series in the city. So besides media coverage, the cubs play hasn't given me much reason to hate the as much as I hate the Packers. But believe me the Cubs are a close second on the $ h i t list

Yeah, the White Sox and Bears are my two most cherished teams hands down. The Cubs do not really affect our playoff chances, and frankly, most of the time we beat up on them. We have never lost a season series to them. The Packers on the other hand have the most obnoxious and eerie fans in the history of professional sports. They kill us in our division. I mean we couldn't even beat them in the 13-3 year when we beat EVERY other team in the central TWICE. I am friends with Cubs fans. I could never be friends with a hardcore Packers fan. No Joke. I hate the Packers more than the Cubs. But it's close. EXTREMELY close. Go Sox!!! Go Bears!!!

Dear Bear Fans:

Even when you go 13-3 with a horseshoe up your butt, ya still lose to us twice! Just keep talking about the good old Super Bowl Shuffle days while we're in the playoffs...

Go Sox!

Look at it this way; Packer fans are cocky *******s because they have a winning past and have actually won something and the Bears have been their rivals since the beginning of time. Cub fans are cocky *******s because that's just the way they are. Look at the Cubs biggest rivals; a team that never used to be in their division until recently (Cardinals), a team no longer in their division (Mets), and a team from a different league (Sox). Pretty sad when nobody else in your own division thinks enough of you to consider you their main rival.

The Packers have earned my respect because of what thy have accomplished over the years. What have the Cubs done besides capitalize on their "trendiness"?

the only thing the packers have really accomplished over the years is signing brett favre. that's a big accomplishment, for sure, but that's about it. they probably wouldn't have won a single game last year without favre, realistically, what with the horrible playcalling that rivals shoop for awfulness.

I hate the pack and the cubs. I do hate the Pack more because they seem to have the Bears number. The juices still start flowing when I think of that **** Tim Harris slamming Jim McMahon on the turf and injuring him in a cheap shot. I admit I have toned down my hate of both teams since i have moved to Indianapolis, but a short trip up I-65 usually gets me fired up easily. Is it a coincidence that both of my favorite teams have boneheads calling the shots, Shoop & Manuel?? I must be a glutton for punishment, or really love throwing things at the TV.

No brainer for me. I don't like football at all so it's Cubs all the way. I do pull for the Bears to do well since they are Chicago. The ivy, the idiot frat boys, the media, Sosa, "beautiful" Wrigley Field, Chip Carey...my hate list could go on forever.
