Ross Gload is hitting .330 with 20 doubles.
He's left handed and has a very good glove.
Sounds like a contact hitter with decent speed.
To me that sounds like our version of Doug Myassitchez.
I think that he would be a definite upgrade over
Konerko.

Who is Ross Gload, and where is he putting these numbers up?

A 1b that we acquired from the rockies.
He's at Charlotte.
He is 27, but he has never had a shot at
the majors because of Todd Helton.

Career minor leaguer, not a prospect.
He's probably similar to Brian Daubach, with a worse glove.

He doesn't have a worse glove.
He is much better than any infielder we have at defense(not saying much).
You could call him a career minor leaguer if youd like,
but the way KOnerko is hitting, I doubt Gload would
do any worse.

I dunno Daubach is really heating up. We need a righty and I still think Konerko will come around. Unless someone gets hurt I doubt we'll see Gload.
