For your reading, and debating pleasure. (http://www.suntimes.com/output/slezak/cst-spt-carol19.html)

Of note, Magg's beats out Corky for the right field position, despite a down year from #30.

I have only one objection to her team.

I'd have gone with Jimenez at second base, but I can see her reasoning on all the other positions.

Because the Flubbies are in first. Who cares who the most important player on the Sox is right now?

I loved this quote...

Besides injured specialist Kelly Wunsch, only Marte has been consistent. But what is Marte's role?

Looks like we are not the only ones who are confused by JM's decisions...

I really didnt get the MVP thing myself. I think this is the first year they have had an MVP we just had to add one more cub to the list. By the way the cubs are lucky right now at SS i would take Jose most years over Gonzo.

Her arguement:

But no player on either side of town has contributed more to his team's success than Mark Prior. His team-best eight wins and 2.71 ERA are tangible proof.

So Loaiza's team-best ten wins and and league-leading 2.15 ERA haven't contributed to the Sox as much? Sure that makes sense...
