Is anybody positive about winning tommorrow?

Wright v. Lowe.

It doesn't look good.

If we do win, taking 3 out of 4 from Boston makes me
more optimistic.

Wright is pitching. It's a day game. Fell pessimistic until you receive further instructions.

Not so fast ... while Lowe is better at day than night, on the road, he's not very good.

In 8 games, he's 3-3 with a 7.43 ERA. Opponents are hitting over .300 against him on the road.

So, we'll see.

That stat for Lowe is just road games, to clarify.

Problem is during the past few years, we've stunk it up in day games.

Both pitchers have history against them going into this one so let's wipe the slate clean

I have trained my body to not feel hope. I have no feeling on tomorrow's game.

wright vs. lowe = two pitchers who are just as likely to be solid as they are to be ass.

i would be ecstatic if we won though

Absolutely huge game tomorrow, so you know what the Sox will do. With our numerous automatic double plays I dont feel good about the offense against lowe.

Since I'm at work, I can't watch the game over WGN, but I can "watch" the gamecast. With Lowe going, I'm not sure whether it's worth it or not. I suppose my inner masochist will take over around 2pm ET though....

With as much excitement as I can generate: GO SOX!!

After all my posts about this season being over I am now feeling some hope. So you know what will happen today. I hope Wright makes it out of the 1st inning.

More improtantly, a win agains Lowe guarantees the Sox have picked up a minimum of 2 games on Minnesota in a 4 day period. If they're going to make a run, now is the time. I'm gettiing kind of sick of the 6.5 -8.5 games out range. Every time these twam plays well for 2-3 games, the suck for 2-3 games. This needs to change..NOW.

We could win this series but if there is any more crap like pinch hitting for Dalbauch with a 1.92 hitter with the bases loaded we will only tie. Was it the lefty righty thing again or has Konerko hit that pitcher well all year. If that is it, he is the only pitcher he has hit well. Jerry, get a clue.
