Josh Paul just plain sucks.

Paul sucks? Bill Mueller shouldn't have even been on base!!!!

Klesko was right, Jimenez might be the laziest SOB on Earth. What a stupid error. You're taught to CHARGE those balls.

What a bum.

That is all true, but it does not change the fact that Josh Paul is the worst excuse for a catcher wearing an MLB Uni right now.

It's all relative. We wouldn't be talking about Paul sucking if Jimenez would have made the play in the first place.

Jimenez sucks.

Buerhle is looking better so far compared to that last start, but that's not saying much

Out of curiosity, when did Klekso say this?

I THINK it was right after DJ was traded to the Sox. Klesko said that if DJ had any less of a work ethic, he'd be laying in a casket.

I must have missed this, but after Jimenez stole 2nd, he advanced to third, and suddenly they went to commercial. Was he called out first some reason?

nice at bat by frank. battled his ass off. there was NO DOUBT in my mind he was gonna strike out on a breaking ball. Martinez just kept throwing sooooo many fastballs, it was bound to happen. i was thinking change up. but the curve did the job. great at bat frank. that's all you can ask for in that situation.

5 innings for martinez and people are seriously comparing him to koufax? come on now. willie harris had 2 hits off him.

What is the cult of personality surrounding Pedro? It's like everyone is afraid to say anything negative about him. I personally think he's a high-strung whiner who's made of glass.

Perhaps you failed to notice that he can pitch a little bit?

I won't deny that, but the guy is still a nutjob.

Look at the history, most of your really good pitchers are nutballs or complete bastards,it has to do with the mindset. The best pitcher I ever caught was such a surly bastard that we (as a team) flipped his car on it's roof after the season was over.He was drafted but never made it due to an arm injury.

Two run lead in the eighth, at home, against a good team, with our starter going all the way? Haven't we recenlty been here before??

Buehrle better be dead or missing an arm for him to validate this move. MB had 91 pitches, and it would have been great to get a standing O.

Nice W for MB.

Way to go, Mark and Joe and Flash -- you deserve this.

More bad baserunning tonight, too; I can't believe they overcame it.

Wow. I almost had a heart attack with the final out. KC destroying Minny right now. At least we make up ground on one.... :(: :(:

I never would have though in my wildest dreams we would have beaten Pedro... I guess wild dreams do come true sometimes, not always the ones on the top of the priority list though.

Beautiful win Sox!

Where did you play ball, Daver?

I didn't watch the game, and believe me I was shocked to see the Sox had beaten Boston today. If only Colon had pulled out the win against SF, and if they get one lousy run yesterday, we'd all be very exited about a nice winning streak by our Sox. Amazing how bad this team looks some days and how good they look another...
....And on a side note, the Sox win a lot more than they lose when I don't watch the game. Therefore, I'm not watching tomorrow despite my love for the White Sox. Hopefully you guys get to see a win.

Magglio struck out and that was the 3rd out
