ROTATION SHIFT: With today's day off, manager Jerry Manuel has decided to skip Danny Wright's turn in the rotation, meaning Jon Garland, Mark Buehrle and Bartolo Colon will face the San Francisco Giants this week.

Wright, who last pitched Thursday at Arizona, would have been in line to pitch Wednesday against the Giants. His next start will be Saturday against the San Diego Padres. Wright is 0-3 with a 5.87 ERA, but did allow just two runs on three hits last week against the Diamondbacks. - Sun-Times
