View Full Version : Who was that defensive juggernaut yesterday?

My dad and I spent most of the game yesterday discussing who this team was playing defense out there. Diving stops by Crede, Jiminez, nicely turned DPs, etc.

The Dodger fans next to us told us that they thought they had always heard the Sox were bad defensively, and were shocked. Een Thomas made a nice play on a pick off move, extending around the runner to pick up a bad throw.

The lone poor play, Carlos Lee's probably looked worse on TV. That ball was smoked and tailing towards the line intensely.

Still, this was like watching a whole different baseball team. It was honestly, really weird.
