Another C on the bat?

I've been looking at some sammy sosa pictures and on the bat in the linked picture, I see something which represents a C on top of it. It might just be a light effect, but you never know. Also, he seems to use bats with inward tops and with outward tops. I'm guessing that he's always used a corked bat, just he selectively used one when he was struggling or he wanted to improve.

And notice how that helmet looks a little small. Wonder if his head grew some more due to his sportsman-like rigorous power-lifting workout routine. (or maybe those flintstone vitamins?)
