How about Comeback Player Of The Year and CY Young. If he keeps the ERA under 2 for the whole year and wins 20 games he also must be considered for MVP.

Who would have thought at the beginning of the year he would have been one of the only reasons to stay interested.

No way he'd be MVP on a sub-.500 club. If he goes 20-5 with a 2.00 ERA then he could contend for the Cy Young. Comeback player is a distinct possibility. Lets start with spelling his name correctly. L-O-A-I-Z-A. Thanks!

He only gets the name spelled correctly if he makes the All Star team.

Lip, no way in the world the Sox trade a starting pitcher who is locked into a low contract (that is a relative term these days) for next year. Colon on the other hand is gone.

God if the Sox were in a race he would be the feel good story of the year in baseball.

Just like the Bullpen did in 1993, the Sox are going to cost Loiaza
a Cy Young this year. He has been spectacular every start except one. he should have 4 more W's on his record were it not for the Offense, Rick White, and Flash Gordon.
