View Full Version : Disturbing trends on the all star voting early results

The disurbing trend is not that there are not enough Sox players high on the list (most of our previous all stars shouldnt go back this year) it's the fact that there are so many Cubs players so high on the list

Hee Sop Choi is in third for first basemen, AHEAD OF TODD HELTON

Alex gonzalez is third for shortstops, ahead of Rich Aurilia

These players are only this high because of Cubs fans stuffing the ballot boxes. I call on all sox fans to vote for Helton and Aurilia to ensure that these fools dont come into OUR stadium as all-stars

IIRC, international ballots are allowed this year. May just be having a lot of votes from Korea for Choi.

Really, who cares?

I vote for whoever is running against the Cubbies every year. Looks like it's time to start voting again.

When does the voting end? I haven't voted once yet this year. I usually don't wait this long.

AL 1B reps right now should probably be Delgado and Sweeney IMO. Sweeney may have cooled of a bit, not sure.

Voting has Giambi in 1st who is batting .210. Do these fans voting watch the games?

Does anyone else need any other reason why the All-Star Game is stupid?

I think the idea is cool, but the voting is just ridiculous. Fans stuff the ballot box for their favorites; Giambi hitting .210. I don't know which is worst, the fans voting or the players that know they are having bad years but still go to the game. It seems to me that if you don't deserve to go maybe you should decline and let someone more deserving go.

An interesting idea about voting for the ASG. (http://www.strikethree.com/03/05/29/dave.shtml)

If the voting goes that route, Paulie will be in for sure!
