Well, there are many different types of turf for the Sox to play on this year:

Metrodome: Think cheap carpet padding painted green (even more ridiculous this year with the "mowed" look).

Tropicana: FieldTurf combines blades of artificial grass with a specially patented infill mixture of sand and ground rubber. The ground rubber is a recycled material made from used NIKE athletic shoes.

SkyDome: artificial turf system - Astro-Turf 8 (1 1/4 inches in thickness)

What others?

I think the Sox should win a game or two in Tampa, maybe one in Toronto, and you would think they'll win at least ONE out of the six remaining in Minnesota.
