He's resurrected his career with the Sox, but the piss poor way they're playing, I wouldn't blame him for wanting to go elsewhere at a better shot of winning. He deserved more than 2 lousy hits. Pathetic.

It's not his decision. The Sox hold the option for next year.

The gamble is not worth picking up his $3.5M option for next year.

If I was Loaiza after that game I woulda marched into the locker room and gave a earfull to every one of these arrogant underchieving players and there piss poor play. Maybe emptied a few lockers, the sox dont deserve Esteban.

Then do you guys think if the Sox are out of it by July (very, very possible) they'll try to trade him before the trading deadline?

Colon and Loaiza are begging to be first out the door at the trade deadline. Why would Loaiza want to make such a comeback and resurrect his career and waste it with a bum team like this? He deserves better and a chance to finally win. Colon won't spend his best years toiling through this crap.
