Borchard does not impress me at all.

I have a question: why didn't Borchard bunt Konerko to second. Oh - and why are we losing to the tigers?

We are looking like we don't give a damn out there, and I am so damn tired of it.

If we lose two games to Detroit - the entire ****ing team should be fired.

HBP right in the ear flap; leaves game with birds flying around his head.

If they hit him in the head then I want a retaliation.

Loaiza, Manuel suspended next week? Hell maybe MLB will suspend Lee too?

It seemed accidental, not intentional.

In my books, a pitch to the head deserves retaliation accidental or not. I don't think we should be throwing at their heads or anything, but they should know that accidents like that won't be tolerated.

This team desperately needs to move the runners over. At this point, everybody (including maggs and frank) should be bunting w/ a runner on first and nobody out.

YES!!! DOUBLE PLAY!!!! Great work Paulie!!!!

For those reading, if the Sox lose tonight I'll be done with them for atleast the next month. No more watching games, no more posting on WSI. No more aggravation. If they were losing with heart it would be a very different story.

I hate to be that type of fan -- but I hate the way this team plays baseball. And I hate the way management does nothing about it.

Am I a bad fan to give up on a team, that itself has given up??

...is going wrong:

- We are losing to Detroit. DETROIT!!!!!!
- Kansas City won.
- With our luck, Minnesota will surely win.
- Cubs once again have the golden horseshoe stuck up their collective arse and are beating Houston.

I am so damn sick and tired of this. Why do we have to get kicked in the balls all the damn time!!!!!!!

Is it my imagination, or is Paul Konerko on track to break a record for most GIDPs in a season? You know you are bad when more Ks would be considered an improvement.

If Bochard get a hit to lead off the 8th I will feel a lot better about him.

A lot of that is Manuel's fault. We NEVER move runners over. Can anybody name the last time we sacrificed? We can't belt out runners - and our pitching's been good. It's simple baseball Jerry - YOU MANUFACTURE RUNS!!!

We may lose confidence in them, yet we do not abandon them no matter how much heartache they cause us.

Nope, as bad as they are, I could never give up on them. I just sink into deep depressions.

I wonder if I can find my old Cubs hat from my 20-something days in Lincoln Park.

There is nothing abut this Sox team that is remotely worth my time.

Blow this goddamn thing up now. They way we played, we wouldn't have hit Don Knotts, yet alone Gary Knotts.

Bucktown you gotta be kidding about the Cubs hat thing....I am now off to find something tall to jump off of. I can't take this anymore. I literally upset. This season is over everyone. I'm sorry to be negative but I don't see any positive things that could happen to this team. Anemic is the best word I have for it. If the Tigers sweep us, maybe that will be the final straw for Manuel, maybe even KW. I will pray for it tonite...
