Rose making a stink
By GREG Di CRESCE -- Winnipeg Sun
Pete Rose Jr. is having a hard time accepting the fact that there's no room on the Winnipeg Goldeyes roster for him.
After all, he is Pete Rose Jr.
And the son of famed Cincinnati Red Pete Rose said yesterday: "I heard there were kids chanting my name (Wednesday afternoon) at the game. I mean, I should be there. It's where I belong."
"I'll play baseball where I want," he said, noting in the Northern League, Fargo-Moorhead or Joliet would be fine. "I've played the game too long not to."
If Rose doesn't get his way, he threatened to jump leagues or return to Mexico or even sit out an entire season.
