I just read on ESPN2 bottomline that the Cubs placed Sosa on the DL withy a toe injury. Does anyone have more information on this?

I heard he was going to be out for 2-5 games, but I haven't heard the those two letters used to describe sosa's condition (DL)

Edit: I heard he had the surgery and I heard about those two letters. If the cubs lose, this will be a great day, regardless of if the sox win or lose

Good luck with that. :D:

At least you won't have to worry about updating the "WHIFF-O-METER" for a while. :)

Wow. I just realized last year the Cubs had the two out of the top 10 all-time strikeout leaders hitting back-to-back in their lineup. (So-sho and McWhiff).

Doublem23, do you think Sham-Me will beat Reggie Jackson by the time his career is over?

No wife-beating jokes, please. I know there are a few of you who would've gone that direction...
