View Full Version : Cornejo is a beast: Tigers look like a team

The Tigers "demolished" the Orioles 6-1 tonight. Cornejo got his second win and is now 2-2. He went 7.1IP and gave up just 1ER. He has a respectable 2.60 ERA as well. A bright spot in a dour season. Their 1-4 and 6-7 guys got bunches of hits. Wow maybe they might make double digits in wins afterall! :D:

I saw this thread, and I had to laugh. Detroit cannot be compared to a beast. A rabid bunny rabbit, maybe, but definitely not a beast.

2.60 is respectable?? man, buerhle must've had a terrible season last year, his ERA was over 3!

I meant that Cornejo was a beast, the team is more like a runt. Cornejo has the only respectable ERA on the team at 2.60 which is REALLY good for and MLB pitcher. He keeps going deep into ballgames as well. They might have a bright spot with Cornejo and Bonderman who is 2-4. If they can dump all those old salaries like Palmer, Halter, Paquette, etc. then they could pay some decent players.
