If you were to nominate a song that best describes how you feel as a Sox fan right at this point of 2003, what would it be?
My first nomination: The Kinks' 1965 hit: "Tired of Waiting"

How about a minor hit, although not a true song, from the '60s: "They're Coming to Take Me Away, Ha! Ha!"?

My pick: Halls of Illusion by ICP (replace illusions of a good life with a good team/season and the realities with a sub-.500 record and poor play instead of death and etc.)
My dad says: Nah nah nah nah hey hey by Steam

I guess I'll go with one of these KISS songs...
1) "Rock Bottom"
2) "Hard Times"
3) "Tears are Falling"
4) "I've Had Enough"
5) "Betrayed"

Garbage - I'm Only Happy When It Rains
Dual meaning here. The band name describes what the Sox are playing like, and I wish it would rain more often when our pitchers give up runs in the top of the first.

I'm too tired to think of songs because I've been writing my damn thesis so I can graduate Friday, but I would have to say that if we could also pick a name of a band, it would be "Garbage."

We Didn't Start the Fire - Maybe all of Sox history here
But my number one choice is
Ice Ice Baby - Because the Sox are playing as awful as this song was.

So many choices. Two that stand out:
Beck---Loser
???--You Suck
At least I think that's the name. Some chick sings it. It's from the late '80's early '90's. Don't remember all the words but the chorus is something like "....and for that You Suck"
One other song that just came to mind (that they actually play at the Cell) is "Oh, that smell"

Elvis Costello has alot of songs that work for me as a Sox fan.
- "I Can't Stand Up For Falling Down"
- "Accidents Will Happen"
- "No Action"
- "Lip Service"
- "Waiting For the End of the World"
I wish they would have Elvis Costello night at Comiskey for a change. I like him better than the other Elvis.
