we will not score. meche is carying a streak of 21.1 scoreless innings coming into the game and we've scored more than three runs only once in our last 5 games.

Well, I assume none of the posters on this board will score, but I suppose one or two of them could be Sox players...

Predictions:

1. Sox lose. I'm not off the bandwagon, but Cameron is a man possessed.

2. Fans run on field due to nat'l TV.

3. Failing #1 and #2, it rains, and I miss a rare chance to see the Sox on TV out here in Central PA.

Could be a disaster tonight. If we lose we fall 5.5 games behind KC and into third place. Not to mention with the day game today at Wrigley and with the national coverage, there is a good chance of a moron running onto the field.

No doubt during the game the ESPN guys covering the game will mention the incident. Les Grobstein told me that "Sox fans need to know" that the Wrigley Hat Thief was a Dodger's fan. Well baseball fans watching tonight's game "need to know" that the Ump Jumper is a Cubs fan.

I'm gonna take the positive path, a path that we Sox fans are unaccustomed to. I predict that Colon will toss a complete game 4 hitter and a 3-0 White Sox Winner!

I didn't know he was a Dodger fan, but I know he work(ed?) for the Trib...
