Small ball is killing us. We try it at the wrong times, and can't execute it anyway. MAYBE

We could live without small ball (regular season, anyway) if we were playing successful "big ball." Is big ball the term for the three run shot? That doesn't sound right.

This Sox team is like the Bears of last season. We try to be a powerhouse bashing team, but we aren't. The Bears (Shoop) tried to be a running and defense team, to eat the clock, but you don't eat much clock on 3 and outs. Both teams are trying to be something they're not. What's the cause of both teams' poor strategy? Bad coaching.
