We needed this one bad. Hopefully, last nights beaning will be the turning point of this season.

Great Game from Loaiza and Marte.
Jerry Manuel finally shows some courage.
Hitting still a little concern
But overall
A great and important win.

Let's get the A's

What a brilliant decision by Joe Nossek to keep Marte in the game to pitch the ninth. He was clearly throwing well, and with two left-handers coming up, it was definitely the right move. Kudos to Manuel for finally showing some fire, but I think he puts Koch in in that situation, and you never know what might have happened. This was a great win for the Sox, as they passed their first major test of the season. Two more big series on this homestand. Let's win 'em all, fellas.
