Cleveland got creamed by Anaheim; Minnesota fell to that great baseball dynasty from Tampa Bay tonight. This could have been our chance to gain on BOTH of them! So what do we do? We came out and played like complete crap!
The ballpark was surreal tonight. I think at least half the people were there for Elvis Night and the ballgame in that particular order. There were Elvis impersonators everywhere, and there was a little Elvis altar carried about the ballpark by four of the Elvis fans. There were over 33,000 there tonight, and we pissed this golden opportunity to gain ground on both of them.
We just sucked tonight.
