I know it's early in the year, but...who else is excited about Jiminez? He had a sweet day today.

Let's remember to take a look at the calendar before we get too excited about Jimenez, but if he wants to keep playing like this, I think we'll have solved any concerns about second base for a long time.

Go DJ, Jr.!

what do you mean, doub is right. he just repeated what campbell said, but made it sound like an argument.

i guess i just wanted to kiss up to doublem, since he's so keen and all. and i guess i neglect to give campbell his props. it's not an argument. thanks Spliff

Hey guys, calm down! :)

I have been a victim of Alan Greenspan's fabled "irrational exuberance" in the past when it comes to Sox players, so I'm just sayin'...Jiminez is tearing things up, and I hope it continues.

Ray who?

I only wish he was a little faster. I'd love if the sox traded Lee for a true leadoff hitter (a Shannon Stewart type), and move Jimenez to number 2.

I'm excited about him. Primarily, he's shown a great eye and patience with 10 walks in 60 ABs. His power and hitting will probably ebb and flow and settle down below current numbers, but if he can continue to show patience at the plate, we've got ourselves a real leadoff hitter.
