Can someone please tell me where I can find a list of transactions Hawk made while he was gm for the Sox?

He put Fisk in left field. That should be enough for you.

When exactly was he GM? I want to say '86, right?

I could probably come up with a list of trades, but I don't know about FA signings.

Didn't he trade Kittle to the Yanks?

One terrible one was that he traded away Bobby Bonilla for Jose DeLeon.

I was just curious to see how bad he really was.

Wasn't it Hawk that signed Julio Cruz to that long contract? Harrelson also fired Tony LaRussa, and Jerry Reinsdorf to this day considers allowing Hawk to do that as one of his biggest mistakes.

1986 was a season to forget. Let's go over Hawk's reign of terror:
Fired LaRussa and hired Fregosi.
Obtained Bobby Bonilla (rule 5 draft) then traded him in August for Jose DeLeon.
Drafted Grady Little(with No 1 draft choice) who never saw the Southside.
Yes, Fisk was the Opening Day leftfielder.
He might as well enshrined Arnold Rothstein in the Sox Hall of Fame.

...Hawk put me to sleep while I was watching the game this afternoon. So while '86 was a bad year, the madness continues 17 years later.
