"I'm not looking to just put up numbers to stay around this game longer," Valentin said. "I want to win. That's it. I really won't care where I am next year, as long as we win it all this year. The pieces are in place to do that with this team. I don't want to go any place else."

I knew there was a reason I liked this guy.

More evidence Valentin is at the heart of this team. The guy makes a throwing error, than comes back and hits two 2 run homeruns trying to make up for it.

Hose could have signed with Baltimore for more money a couple years back and turned them down.

Valentin winning attitude is a great example for the youngsters on the team, he still has to make the plays at short and hit a little better from the right side.

Also, they moved him around to 3rd and even center and i dont ever recall him complaining about that. Jose does whatever is best for the team or what the coach wants. total team player!
