How many think Brian Dubach will get the nod over Konerko tomorrow?

Daubach will start for Lee, in my opinion and bat 5th (he should anyway)

The grass is always greener on the other side...until you get to the other side.

As bas as PK and Lee have been, I hope we start our regulars. T

That's what I think, I would replace Lee with Daubach before I replace Konerko.

This may be a little wacky but I think the reason we're struggling offensively is the all right handed line-up.
Our only power threat from the left side is the one who drove in just about all the runs.
This team NEEDS more balance in the line up in regards to righty/lefty

at least carlos can get on base when he's struggling via the walk. he already has two in three games. can't say the same for paully.

stuck with the regulars and let them play out of it. tinkering this early had a negative effect last year. platoon where you want but stick with the same guys.

I think we now need to have a post for the tinkerers and the anti-tinkerers to fight it out...

WHICH IS THE BETTER PHILOSOPHY?

We need is more John Olerud's (about as consistant as one can get) on this team, and less Carlos Lee's/Konerko's (inconsistant, but can carry a team occasionally). Not saying Lee/Konerko aren't good players. We just lack consistancy on this team, to a whole other level.

Isn't Frank Thomas' average also in the .220's?

Yes, but he's getting on base enough to warrant his spot in the order. OPB of about .500 at this point. I'll take it. If he can't start hitting for power, how about leadoff? He'd be our best leadoff hitter in history. Imagine big, slow Frank hitting at the top of the order. Not much speed, but he's always on base. Maybe we tell Jimenez that if he can't start stealing bases, we might as well put Frank in the 1-hole.

Jeremy Giambi hit leadoff (I am not sure if he still does)
