Things of note:

5 "experts", only one picks the sox to make the postseason (AL central champs.

The same one picks Ordoņez as MVP, Thomas as comeback player along with 2 other experts and he picks Kenny Rogers to be the goat of the year (Adam Reich)

Charlie McCarthy picks the sox to be the most dissapointing team this year

Edit:

I also want to take note of their player rankings where you can see their obvious anti-White Sox bias by putting Buerhle as only the 28th best starter in the game, Below Ohka, Schmidt, Piniero and Wolf, among many others deserving to be lower. Look at that and the other starting positions here:

Oh well, we'll just laugh at them when we're in the playoffs.

In the SI player rankings, there was definitely no anti-Sox bias and maybe even some Pro-sox Bias. Colon was 5th pitcher and Buerhle was 10th. Koch was 3rd Reliever. Those rankings can be found here:

Edit 2:

I am also beginning to wonder how the Sox would be a dissapointment if every writer is picking us to be a dissapointment? (Except our pal Phil Rogers at the Trib of course).

I don't think there is a good reason to take these national "experts" so seriously. The only things they know about te Sox is what they see on ESPN.

We are in Chicago and we know what we can expect, or hopefully expect.

I wish everyone would pick the Twinkies to win the division, and for us to be the most disappointing team and every other slice you could stick on the Sox. Will be just that much sweeter when their all proven wrong.
Being underdogs provides alot of motivation
