It's good to see Garland wheeling and dealing in a solid start. Still if you're facing a Texas lineup without A-Rod and "The Milkman" you're not facing a very tough lineup! I also have been meaning to see this David Sanders kid, I guess he's pretty good for a relief guy. Someone to look forward to in the future...

Looks like he got pretty lucky considering he allowed 11 baserunners.

I have to say I am very excited for the prospects of Jon Garland this year. I wish I could back up my statements, but I have the gut feeling that he will be a hair behind Bartolo and Mark in leading this team through the season.

If Loiaza can keep up his impressive start, we'll be rolling by May.

according to the article in the trib yesterday garland's bb/k rate was pretty spectacular heading into today so other than today, a high whip hasn't been a story for him this spring...
