Today makes 3 tough outings in a row for our newly acquired ace. Anybody worried?

Right here, I'M WORRIED. If you look at the Sox ' track record for newly acquired pitchers than Colon should be in for a long, disappointing season. His spring is very discouraging and I hope this doesn't mean the Sox will fall short of expectations yet again. Also, it should be pointed out that Rick White got pounded again. He isn't looking too hot either. NERVOUS ANYONE!?!?

Maybe.

Are the Sox still in contention for the spring training championship?

Nope. I'll be worried if he continues this when the games count, but in the spring, can't get too low from bad showings; can't get too high from great performances.

Is it time to re-evaluate the Colon trade? Rocky Biddle hasn't given up an earned run for Montreal this spring. Meanwhile, Jeff Liefer leads Les Expos in RBI.

Of course, you remember how the Diamondbacks cut Curt Schilling after the Sox hammered him last spring.

Yep. That's what LMAO really means.

POTW is Post Of The Week. Although it may not always be updated every week.

My question is, what does "woot" mean?

I expect Liefer to hit 20 homers and have 70 RBI's. He will also strike out over 100 times, hit .250 and play average defense. Needless to say Rocky will give up some runs. I imagine he will be something like 10-10 with a 4.60 ERA. I have no problem letting either of them go for Colon.

Rocky would have done better than that if the Sox had kept him and let him pitch. He could be a big surprise for the Expos. If he starts, he probably won't get yanked when he allows a baserunner after the fifth or sixth inning. Rocky Biddle is a better pitcher than a lot of posters here believe.

No, I think a lot of people like Rocky, especially the fire he brings to the mound, but he just can't get and stay healthy. It's too bad.
