Since noone else wants to talk about it...

Gordon's on the bump to start (weird) - struck out 2, gave up a hit in the first.

Top 2 -

DaVanon K's
(Farmer conjecturing that Gordon might be 5th starter, but he also didn't think Thomas would make the team)
Gil singles
Molina HBP
G. Johnson grounds into fielder's choice - 3-6 - runners at the corners, 2 outs.
K. Johnson doubles, scoring Gil. G. Johnson to third. Apparently the ball took a bad hop on the infield and bounced over Graffanino's head into left.
Figgins K's.

1-0 Angels.

I read that Barto Colon was suppose to start. Anyone hear why Barto didn't get the start? Is Barto scheduled to pitch at all today?

Lee walks and Rowand doubles
- these are both very good signs

Paul K's
- this is, well, not unexpected

What are Stewart's chances of breaking camp with the team? I have to admit that he has impressed me thus far.

Top 4

Josh Stewart stays in for his 2nd inning

- Benji Gil flies one off the wall for a stand-up double
- Benji Molina grounds it to Harris for the 1st out. Gil to 3rd. Great funadmentals by the Angels.
- Kerry Johnson walks. 1st and 3rd, 1 out
- Keith Johnson grounds to Harris. He flips the ball wide of Jimenez. Another error. Run scores, everyone is safe. Get Harris out of there. 2-0 Anaheim
- Flyball to Rowand. Out #2
- Owens lines one to RF for a hit. Awful throw by Rios, run scores. 3-0 Halos.

They aren't sure when Colon is going to pitch next. For those who don't know, he was supposed to start yesterday vs. Arizona, but it was rained out.

Why is this reminding me of our games last year vs. the Angels? Walks, errors, Angels playing small ball, getting big leads...

- Grounder to Graffy, force at 2nd...inning over

Through 3 1/2, Sox now trail it 3-0

Top of 8th Kelly Wunsch in

- Someone flies out to the warning track for Valenzuela (Wunsch was lucky that the wind was blowing in)
- Davanon Ks on a big curve ball

I don't know why but I think I would have almost preferred he give up that dinger. Something makes me a little uneasy with him make it into the regular season with a zip era. Its gotta even out somewhere!

Sox beat the ANgels and it was out West! Does that count against the west coast jinx?

Nope. What I think is part of the reason for the Sox having trouble out west is that they have to go back 2 hours. A 7:05 game feels like 9:05, and ands somewhere around midnight, as compared to ending around 10:00

Hopefully this marks the end for Josh Paul in a White Sox uniform.

He's called Mr. Versatility because he's terrible at EVERYTHING.

Wow... I feel bad for the Yankees then... it's a 3 hour differance. They ut get their asses handed to the when they play out there...
