With the second out being made on the sac fly, the "book" play is NOT to move up to second, especially if you have the lack of wheels that Konerko posesses.
Third out before runner crosses plate, no run!

Third out before runner crosses plate, no run! Understood, but apparently Konerko DID advance to second, Nevin FELL OVER or something on the catch, and Konerko could have actually tagged up to THIRD. But alas, Pauly made it all the way to second and had to RUN all the way BACK to first because he ''forgot'' to tag up or something... smart Sox baserunning as usual...

...and with that I must take leave of the boards for a bit while I make a living. If someone would be so kind as to take over, I'm sure it would be appreciated all around...

Nevin by the way seperated his shoulder. He's going to be out awhile. Another devestating injury to the padres who have already lost Hoffman for half the year.
