Todd Ritchie is in midseason form. He allowed three runs on four hits in just two innings of work Friday. He allowed a homerun to Scott Hatteberg. The Brewers were defeated by Oakland, 6-5.

Royce Clayton did not play.

RK, we should put you in charge of a semi-regular "Sox Reject Report."

Let's not laugh very hard. After all Wright's line yesterday was worse!

What ever happened to "Pitchers are ahead of the hitters" in early games?

Clayton drove in two runs today to beat the mighty Cubs.

That means there's ice cream in his future.

Remember the movie Breaking Away? The Little 500 bike race at IU. "Dave" taped his feet to the pedals to finish the race. I heard the Brewers are taping Clayton's cleats on so he doesn't wear the wrong shoes during the game.

that Alex Sanchez has the potential to lead the league in steals *IF* he can learn some patience at the plate...

could be a sleeper/ bargain for a fantasy team...

I heard that Richie Sexson hurt his neck. He was taking his official photo and had a hat on that was too small. When he was trying to adjust it by pulling the brim down he hurt his neck. The Brewers are almost as much fun to pick on as the Cubbies. :)
