I was reading this morning's Trib and here's what Teddy Greenstein had to say about it.
The Sox posted a 7.82 ERA last spring and gave up 10 or more runs in nearly half their games.
Then the regular season began and normalcy returned. The air was no longer light, the fields no longer rock-hard and the sky no longer high. The Sox didn't give up more than nine runs until their 24th game.
Right-hander Dan Wright got bludgeoned last spring, going 0-4 with an 8.17 ERA.
Then he allowed just five runs over 13-plus innings in his first two starts of the season.

It's only spring, but i sure as hell dont want to see sports center showing every bobmb and 15 runs the sox give up in spring. it's pretty embarrassing. As long as it dont happen in the regular season, i'll live with it.
