Hi everyone - I'm back in town now, and I just looked and compared the schedules of these 3 teams...
SCRUBS:
9 vs HOU
3 vs ARZ
3 vs STL
6 vs FLA
6 vs ATL
18 vs MIL/CIN/PIT
ASTROS:
9 vs CHI
3 vs PHI
6 vs SF
6 vs STL
20 vs MIL/CIN/PIT
CARDINALS:
3 vs PHI
3 vs CHI
6 vs LA
6 vs HOU
27 vs MIL/CIN/PIT/SD
The way I see it, the Cards play 33 games vs stinky teams (because LA has lost every good pitcher and has tailed off a lot)
I'd also have to say that ARZ and ATL are tougher teams than PHI and SF - edge goes to 'stros by a tad.
The bottom line is it will be a close and fun division to watch. Hopefully we'll see the Astros and cards both come out on top of the scrubs - the scrubs will miss out on the division AND the wild card.
...I know this has nothing to do w/ the Sox, but since we're out of it, we gotta turn to this important stuff...
