thanks lip, for the trip down memory lane. he was a great part of those great, late 50's teams.

I agree, thanks for the article on the best fielding center fielder the Sox ever had. I wish some of you younger guys could have seen Landis play. I always wondered why they would not bring somebody like him back to coach the outfielders. I guess it would have been too smart a move. Thanks again for bringing back good memories.

I appreciate the comments. Believe me it's a lot of work but I enjoy doing it!

and wait till you see who the February interview is! (He's already done and completed...)

Think of those fabulous White Sox pitching staffs from 1963 through 1967.

Good article,
I remember one year the sox forced Landis to consume a milk shake with every meal in st. They were hoping to increase his weight and hopefully increase his hr production. It failed, he didn't gain any weight.
