ESPN released their "Ultimate Standings, ranking the best sports teams based on 8 categories:
BNG (Bang for the Buck): Revenues directly from fans divided by wins in the past three years
FRL (Fan Relations): Ease of access to players, coaches and management
OWN (Ownership): Honesty; loyalty to players and city
AFF (Affordability): Price of tickets, parking and concessions
STD (Stadium Experience): Friendliness of environment; quality of game-day promotions
PLA (Players): Effort on the field; likability off it
CCH (Coach/Manager): Strong on-field leadership
CHA (Championships): Titles already won or expected -- soon
The Packers were first overall. The highest baseball team was Arizona at #2. The White Sox placed 85th overall, with the Cubs 82nd, the Bears 95th, the Bulls 104th (what if this was run back in the mid-90s, they'd be 1st) and the Blackhawks 108th.
In other words, as ESPN has said many times, Chicago sports teams suck right now compared to everyone else.
