I have worked myself up into such a state of optimism with the Colon trade that I am thinking about getting partial season tickets again. However, I should have realized that even though some things change, some things still stay the same. I called the crack sox sales staff and asked them to e-mail me the dates that each of the split-season plans contains, but of course they never sent it. Does anybody here have that information?

I had partials the last two years and upgraded to full season right after the end of lsat season.

There are three packages to choose from:

1. Every Saturday and Sunday game [includes Scrubs] [with a few other tossed in to make 27--for example last year I had the Monday night Yankee game]

2. Mid-week games.

3. A mixture of popular dates, including opening day and the Scrubs.

I sat in 535--right behind home plate. The upper deck "boxes" are a pretty good value season-ticket wise. You of course cannot get partials in the lower deck infield.

After two years you start to get a pretty good discount. My full-season only cost me three hundred more than my partial did last year. [I share a pair wiht another fellow]

Make sure you tell them you are buying the tix because they made the team better not because you are hot to go to the all-star game [if that's the case].

Hey all,
I'm in the same boat. I'm interested in tickets patly due to Colon, as well as the All Star Game. But I have a nagging Question:

Can I get All-Star Tix with partial plan? The Ads in the Sun-Times suggest so, but its not too concrete. Even when the Sox sent me stuff, I was still wondering. Also, If I do get All Star Tix with a partial plan, will I get thrown into the üpper deck? I certainly dont wanna be up there if Jerry pulls off that "lower deck ticket holders ONLY in the lower deck" bs.

Full season ticket holders are guaranteed their seats for the All-Star game, partial season plans guarantee you seats, but not the seats of your choice, which would most likely be in the UD.

I bought partials this season. The next day, the Sox got Colon.

Life is good. :)

I emailed the Sox on Thursday and received a reply on Friday about the partial season ticket plan.

Question for those who have had partial plans,
Can I exchange games, for example I want to get the weekend
plan but I want to get opening day also? Can I do that or
do I have to buy the additional game?

Hello, I think this is my first post.

I bought a split season weekend plan on Thursday for the first time. I almost did it last year, but the Colon move pushed me to do it.

As far as exchanging tickets, you can exchange unused tickets for other SELECT games. I can't imagine opening day being a game you could switch your tickets for. I still think its a great part of the package to be able to trade in tickets you cannot use for other games however.

And for the All Star game, split season ticket holders will get to purchase the same number of tickets that they have for the All Star Events. This will definitely be upper deck, as Major League baseball gets a huge allotment of tickets I'm sure.

Anyway, I have been reading this board for a year or so and I am excited to take that next step and buy a split package. I told the rep that I did it solely because they are making an effort to improve the team with the Colon move.

FWIW, the only split season tix in the lower deck box that they're still selling are for around sections 109-111 and 153-155--basically around the foul poles.

Based on this, I opted into Lower Deck Reserved, by the Sox Bullpen.

Thanks for the info everybody! My rep e-mailed me the info late yesterday. I was looking at one of the weekday packages, since I prefer to go on Friday nights, but going some of the other weeknight games will be difficult. Has anybody who had partials been able to exchange weekday games for weekends? Just curious.

BTW, I am only thinking about getting season tickets because of Colon. I might actually sell the all-star tickets if I can get a good price for them!

I have been a partial ticket holder for three seasons now. From what I have heard is partial ticket holder are guantee their seats for one home game for the first series. We had first crack at buying extra tickets for opening day and cub/sox series tickets. You can exchange tickets for select games, but parking can't be exchanged.

Sales must be good if the Lower Deck Box is geting down to only a few sections left.

Your seats by the Sox bullpen are in one of the more "vocal" sections of the ball park, it should be a fun time out there.

I have the weekend plan, if I lived closer to Comiskey I think I would opt for the one of the weekday plans.

I bought my weekend split plan on Thursday around noon and got Sec 113, row 17 on the aisle. If it has moved to 111-109 since then it looks like the sales are moving pretty good since the Colon move.

One more signing around Soxfest time might really make a dent in the lower deck.

If you were a season ticket holder prior to 2001 (split or full) you get lower deck tickets to the AS game. New buyers would get UD.

Laura, you have to buy additional games.

I was able to get my hands on some slick bleacher seats. I got the 6th row, right on the isle.
