Just checked out some stats for this kid. Some fairly impressive numbers. I didn't realize he had that much power. 2001 was by far his best year. The only thing that worries me is his horrible K/BB ratio and a lower than normal average. If he was able to acquire some better plate discipline, I would love him on the Sox. Seems to me like he would be a cheap man's Carlos Beltran. Not only cheaper financially in terms of payroll, but we wouldn't have to trade for him since he's a free agent. However, like I said, that low average and K/BB ratio is frightening...
