I'd like to suggest "Biscuit" because he's about one biscuit under 250 lbs.
I don't think his weight will be a problem.

How about "The Aroma" because he will be bringing the sweet smell of success to the Southside.

I don't think his weight will be a problem. Nah, that was the nickname given to William Perry by Dan Hampton.

If he does as well as everyone thinks he will* I think 'Sir" would be appropriate.

*I'm not knocking the trade. It's a good trade. I'm being cautiously optimistic.

Not feeling too inspired just yet, I made a quick list...

"Brut" (as in, cologne)
"275 B.C." (his weight, initials)
"The Gift" (considering what we traded for him)
"El Gordo" (loosely, the fat man in spanish)
"pound" or "lb." (pound, as in weight, but also as in "pounding" the opposition. but mainly so we can say "pound's on the mound")

1)Gordito

2)Caveman (his ninitials are BC)

3) FatMon (to go with BurlyMon) (Was that Boomer's nickname?)

4)SoxWin!

5)The Stopper

6)The Savior

7)TwinKiller

8)Orca (I really like this one)

9)PSTP (Post-season-ticket-printer)

10)Round Mound of the Mound

How bout "Stretch Armstrong"?
His uniform will definitely have a tight stretch across his stomach, and "arm strong", well, thats obvious...

When Colón was with Cleveland, didn't WSI call him "Hungry Hippo"? Or was that somebody else?

That was noted "Sox Army" leader sonnybonoskipro.

Brings back memories of some fuh-nny trolling in '00.

No nickname idea, but we could possibly have the tallest pitcher in baseball and the fattest pitcher in baseball in our starting rotation. Just wanted to say that.

While thinking about this I came up with a new one that I like for good old Sammy Sosa "The Dominican Repudlick."

What ever happened to him anyways? Geez, he goes and gets his 15 minutes of fame on Fox and then forgets about all us "little people". :?:

Sonny came around a couple of times last year and the year before, but in each case he seemed unprepared for the way the board has changed. Not the same over here as it was when we all were looking for a safe place from trolls.

Heck, West gets upset if we troll to aggressively because he has to clean up the mess afterwards. Me too, I suppose...
