i voted for valdes also. i'd rank them:

valdes
suppan
person or no one.

i'm kind of torn on person. i like him but i have serious doubts about pitchers coming off of surgery.

I rank them valdes, person, then suppan, I do like Person, but pitchers coming off of surgery do scare me also, but I think Person can come back strong.
